Implementation and Test
Manager in a dynamic out-sourced Information Technology Environment. Position
requires:
- Working
with senior managers to integrate and test a significant state-of-the-art
infrastructure upgrade for a major client.
- Operational/technical
leadership in day-to-day activities and supervision of testing staff
- Collaboration
and liaison with internal and external constituencies on both programmatic
and administrative issues
- Providing
high-level technical contributions in own field, demonstrating broad
authority and in-depth knowledge in area of expertise.
- Experience
with heterogeneous WINTEL/UNIX computing environments.
Laboratory Manager for
an Information Technology (IT) based development and testing laboratory in a
dynamic out-sourced Environment. Position
requires
operational, and administrative management of three defense-related
information technology laboratories used for IT development, testing, and
support.
Experience with heterogeneous (WINTEL/UNIX)
computing environments.
- Operational/technical

- Ability
to assist in the identification and procurement of IT hardware and software
for the laboratory.

in a dynamic out-sourced Environment. Position
requires
support to multiple users of three defense-related information technology
laboratories used for IT development, testing, and support.
- Experience
with IT workstations, servers, and routers.
- Ability
to follow established laboratory processes.
- Understanding
of asset management in a laboratory environment
- Experience
with heterogeneous (WINTEL/UNIX) computing environments.
- Experience
with Network routers, and other IT equipment
UNIX System Administrator
for an Information Technology (IT) based development and testing laboratory in a
dynamic out-sourced Environment. Position
requires
support to multiple users of three
defense-related information technology laboratories used for IT development,
testing, and support.
- Experience
with UNIX Solaris Based IT workstations, servers, and routers.
- Ability
to follow established laboratory processes.
- Experience
with heterogeneous (WINTEL/UNIX) computing environments.
WINTEL
System Administrator for
an Information Technology (IT) based development and testing laboratory in a
dynamic out-sourced Environment. Position
requires:
- Support to multiple users of three
defense-related information technology laboratories used for IT development,
testing, and support.
- Experience
with Windows 2000 based IT workstations, servers, and routers.
- Ability
to follow established laboratory processes.
- Experience with heterogeneous
(WINTEL/UNIX) computing environments.
Implementation and Test

Information Technology (IT) Environment. Position
requires:
- Experience
with IT testing procedures.
- Experience
with IT workstations, servers, and routers.
- Ability
to follow established testing processes and document results.
- Collaboration

- Experience with
heterogeneous computing environments.
Configuration Manager
for an Information Technology (IT) based
development and testing laboratory in a dynamic out-sourced Environment.
Position requires:

Support to multiple users of
three defense-related information technology laboratories used for IT
development, testing, and support.

Configuration management experience
in a laboratory environment.

Experience with WINTEL and UNIX IT

is currently seeking to fill the following vacancies for our Portsmouth, Virginia office:
Senior
Level Telecommunications Technician:
-
Minimum
8 years of business telephone and network installation and cut over
experience
-
Cable
splicing and half tap experience is a strong plus
-
Experience
with identification of regular dial tone, special (data, alarm, etc.) and
ISDN circuits is a requirement
-
Ability
to design and reconfigure inside telephone and network cable plant in
closets to achieve additional space through consolidation and rearrangement
-
Must
be able to obtain government security clearance
-
Supervise
junior level technician
-
Complete
records and reports as necessary
-
Certify
compliance of work and maintain customer service requirements
-
Plan,
schedule and complete cut over of existing telephone and network
facilities to new location requirements
-
Minimum
4 years experience in Inside and Outside plant fiber optic terminations by
fusion and epoxy methods.
Junior
Telecommunications Technician:
-
Minimum
4 years of telephone and network installation and cut over experience
-
Understanding
of premise distribution systems
-
Some
experience with identification of regular dial tone, special (data, alarm,
etc.) and ISDN circuits is a requirement
-
Proficient
in terminating on 66 type and 110 type blocks
-
Must
be able to obtain government securityclearance
-
Understands
closet layouts with voice, data and riser systems
-
Complete
records and reports as necessary
-
Ability
to interpret and follow assignment and transfer records
-
Ability
to perform cable and station transfers
-
Minimum
2 years experience in Inside and Outside plant fiber optic terminations by
fusion and epoxy methods.
